Come Out To The ‘Night At The Ballpark’ Social

Ballpark

Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd! Looking for an excuse to sing this fun song or just a reason to have a good time while watching America’s favorite sport? On August 8, you can do just that when you attend the 6th Annual Young Professionals Social “Night at the Ballpark.”

HYP

The Hickory Young Professionals group, which is now 11 years old, provides a networking opportunity for young professionals in the area. The idea behind it was to help young professionals stay plugged into the community, and meet other people in their area in an effort to stay engaged.

HYP hosts events throughout the year, each month, with the idea that bringing like-minded people together can help everyone get involved and move forward. On the third Thursday of each month, they host HYP On Tap, which is held at various bars or restaurants, and is a more relaxed environment, focused solely on networking and getting to know other young professionals. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about HYP but just wanted to dip your toe in, this would be a good first event to attend.

About The Night

The night starts at 7 p.m. at Hickory Crawdads Stadium. With your ticket, which is $7 for non-members and free for members, you will receive a meal voucher that will get you a hotdog, fries and a drink — true baseball food! The cutoff for tickets is August 7 at 11:45 p.m., so it’s recommended that you grab your tickets quickly.
